We are always open and our staff is known for good service!

Luggage room, safety boxes and a toilet for disabled on reception (ground) floor. Helsinki Cards, other travel items and services available at reception. Various wending machines at the lobby. We can also help you to make a reservation to hostels elsewhere in Finland and HiHostels abroads.

Restaurant

Breakfast
A buffet breakfast served in Restaurant Katajanmarja from 07 AM to 10:30 AM on weekdays and 08 AM to 11 AM at weekends and Bank Holidays. Buy the breakfast coupon at the reception for 7,70 €.

Meals
The restaurant serves also dinner and à la carte meals. Group dining can also be arranged. The restaurant is fully licenced and it has a wide collection of Finnish beers.

Self service kitchen

There is a self-service kitchen on all accommodation floors. The kitchen is equipped with hot-plates, refrigerator, microwave oven and television with cable channels. Pots and pans as well as dishes and cutlery are available in the kitchen.
With 10 € deposit client can have a key for the private locker in refrigerator.

Showers and toilet facilities

All floors have separate showers and toilet facilities for men and women.

Sauna

Our 7th floor saunas are heated daily. Morning sauna from 06.30 AM to 09.30 AM is included in the room rate. Evening sauna is available daily from 4.30 PM to 9.30 PM for 5 € per person. The sauna can accommodate up to 10 bathers at a time.

Private sauna
The price is 60 € including a two-hour sauna shift and towels for ten bathers. Available from from 5 PM to 10 PM. The private sauna and possible snacks & refreshments into the sauna must be ordered in advance. There is a fridge available in the dressing room.

Self service laundry

The launderette has two washing machines, a spin dryer and a tumble dryer. The launderette is open between 06:00 and 23:00 every day and the machines may be used whenever vacant. The washing machines and tumble dryer are coin-operated - change is available at reception. Washing powder is sold in a wending machine in the lobby. Your room key opens the launderette door.

Telephones and internet

There are 2 public telephones and a Guest telephone for incoming calls at reception floor. Our reception sells credit for public phones.
There is also an internet kiosk in the lobby. The prices are:

1,00 € = 7,5 min
0,50 € = 3 min
The kiosk accepts coins and major credit cards.

Eurohostel has also wireless internet connection (WLAN/WiFi) available for:
5 € = 1 day
15 € = 4 days
20 € = 1 week

Television

Eurohostel category rooms has a television with cable channels.

Televisions has also a PayTV system that provides the biggest movie stars, the best children´s movies and also adult entertainment. Movies are not dubbed into Finnish, they have also a wide variety of subtitles in different languages. You may browse the internet without your own laptop with our PayTV system. PayTV services will be charged separately. The reception may close the PayTV services completely from the room television by your request.
