Eurohostel, Helsinki's friendliest hostel, offers budget accommodation right in the center of town.

MyHelsinki – Helsinki through the eyes of Eurohostel’s guests

My Helsinki

Folks representing almost every nationality have been accommodated at Eurohostel! How do they view Helsinki? What are their individual Helsinki experiences like?

We considered these interesting questions and came to this idea: “How about if we give our guests a camera for the day and a ticket allowing them to travel round town while we ask them to take pictures of what they saw in Helsinki?" MyHelsinki was born!

This project, launched in spring 2011, will collect subjective images of Helsinki from Eurohostel's guests. These pics are not meant to be photographically significant. What’s important will be how the representatives of various cultures and nationalities see our city. All see and sense Helsinki in their own way – and each and every perspective and experience is the right one.
