We are always open and our staff is known for good service!

Luggage room, safety boxes and a washroom for the physically challenged on the Reception (ground) floor. Helsinki Cards, other travel items and services available at Reception. Various vending machines in the lobby. We can also help you to make a reservation to hostels elsewhere in Finland and HiHostels abroad.

Restaurant

From breakfast to an evening snack

Breakfast
A buffet breakfast served at Restaurant Katajanmarja from 7 AM to 10:30 AM on weekdays and 8 AM to 11 AM at weekends and bank holidays. Buy the breakfast coupon at Reception for 7,90 €.

Meals
The restaurant serves dinner and á la carte meals in the evenings. Also group dining can be arranged. The restaurant is fully licensed and offers a wide collection of Finnish beers.

Self-service kitchen

There is a self-service kitchen on all accommodation floors. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, cutlery, hot plates, fridge, microwave oven and television. Pots and pans as well as dishes and cutlery are available in the kitchen.
With a 10 € deposit, clients can have a key for the private locker in the fridge.

Showers and bathrooms

All floors have separate showers and washroom facilities for men and women.

Launderette

The self-service laundry has two washing machines, a spin dryer, a tumble dryer and ironing boards. The launderette is open between 6 AM and 11 PM every day  and the machines may be used whenever they aren’t already in use. The washing machines and tumble dryer are coin-operated - change is available at Reception. Washing powder is sold at the reception where you can also lend irons.

Telephone and Internet

There are 2 public telephones and a guest telephone for incoming calls on the Reception (ground) floor. Our Reception sells credit for public phones.

Eurohostel also offers a wireless Internet connection (WLAN/WiFi), available for:

Television

Eurohostel category rooms have television with cable channels.

The televisions also have a PayTV system featuring the biggest movie stars and best children’s films. Adult entertainment is also available. Movies are not dubbed in Finnish – a wide variety of subtitles in various languages is offered. You can also browse the Internet without your own laptop with our PayTV system. PayTV services are charged separately. At your request, Reception can also turn the PayTV services off completely for your room.

Sauna

Our 7th floor saunas are heated daily. Morning sauna from 06.30 AM to 09.30 AM is included in the room rate. Evening sauna is available daily from 4.30 PM to 9.30 PM. The sauna can accommodate up to 10 bathers at a time.

 


Private sauna

Private sauna includes a three- or five-hour sauna shift and towels for ten bathers. Available from from 5 PM to 10 PM. The private sauna and possible snacks & refreshments into the sauna must be ordered in advance. There is a fridge available in the dressing room.
